SportsRacing World Cup
- 26 November 2000

Eight VSP cars were invited to compete in the SportsRacing World Cup held at Kyalami on Sunday 26 November.

And what a race it was, the VSPs battled it out alongside some of the fastest sports cars in the world. Our drivers did us proud, they were consistent and professional.

Car no. 91 was driven by Donovan Roscoe and Wojtek Pieron who finished 11th overall and won the VSP class.

Wesley and Jordan Grogor finished 13th overall and 2nd in the VSP class.

In car no. 94 Richard Wood, Harry Roscoe and Paul Keates picked up some gearbox problems, but still managed to finish 3rd in the VSP class with only 2 gears.

Colin and Damien Frost finished 16th overall and 4th in the VSP class.

Car no. 96 was driven by Mark Attieh, Neville Jordan and Chris Coetzer who was forced to retire after 52 laps.

Clive and James Kennerley and Neil Lobb in car no. 93 started off very well, but unfortunately ran into some technical problems which marked the end of the race for them. Their car packed up after an hour and ten minutes while
in the lead with clutch failure just after James took over.

One of the favourites, car no. 97 with Bernard Tilanus and Mike Fergusson ran out of luck, and their race lasted only 15 laps.

Alan Eve and his team was forced to retire after only 8 laps.
