HOLLARD SHELBY CAN-AM  SERIES GOES FULL TILT AT KYALAMI
- 26 February 2007

The Hollard Shelby Can-Am Championship fight continues at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit on 24 March. Neil Lobb (DK Woodcraft) remains the man to beat however it could be his son Darryn Lobb (DK Woodcraft) who knocks him from his perch.

Neil currently heads the championship log however Darryn was the fastest man on track at last weekend's Durban based event. Though the event was not a championship round, Darryn certainly made his intentions clear.

Three other challengers have thus far emerged as front running contenders. Donavan Roscoe (Stanley Tools), Alan Eve (Boss) and Rui Campos (Boltt) have been right in the thick of things and will be looking to continue the trend at Kyalami.

Jean-Paul Bredenhann (Chemspec) has had a difficult start to the year with his fair share of misfortune. However Bredenhann has proven his pace previously and will be looking to get back in the zone come March 24.

Chris Hart (Hi-Q Plettenberg Bay), Karl Zachau (Driveline / Salt), Craig Shorter (Hollard) and Sean Greve (Vulcania Reinforcing) will all be looking to add to their points tally, as will Colin Frost (Strocam), Franz Pretorius (Castrol EDGE),) and Peter Bailey (Bailey Edwards).

Rounding out the field will be Brian Algar (Hemisphere Risk Solutions), Sam Hammond, Trevor Frost (Strocam Mining), Pierre Brydges (Avant-Gard), Richard Wood (Almar Packing), and Harry Roscoe (Protea Playing Cards). Rob Wall (Avant-Gard) and Paul Kyriacou newcomers to the series will be looking forward to getting to grips with the Midrand based track, in only their second Shelby outing.
