By “NOS”

Did you guys ever stop top to think about the future and there being NO petrol. No fuel for racing cars? Is it not time for us to be the leaders in this field? Hell we know that leaded racing fuel is nearly gone, why battle with converting to unleaded or running additives, let’s join the Yanks and switch to methanol! The Americans now put a colourant into the fuel so that it burns visibly instead of white! 

We would be news worthy! The producer of the stuff would I am sure love to sponsor us. We could easily get all the information we need to run the methanol in our engines. Technical boys, entrepreneurs, here is the chance of a life time….. let’s go for it! 

Surely the bigger picture of petrol guzzling cars is rapidly becoming a big question mark? There are cheaper ways of making cars go. Iran and Iraq are going down the sluice, now is the time for alternative fuels. Then watch the price of oil fall back to $10 a barrel, and the super rich sheiks will become desert Bedouins again! It is time for change!

 It is good to know that this class is in safe hands! Not one volunteer for the Marketing Committee!

I hope a greater level of participation is happening in the search for new teams and drivers for 2006. How did the Wesbank testing go? Where will Veron be? Stories of other drivers leaving abound, but what it is much more interesting is who is coming in?
