Time to put pen to paper! I am impressed by the “New look” Shelbys, but I am depressed by their weight! They are turning into fat “old tannies” in stead of being rejuvenated Anna Kornicovas!

I would recommend a sub-committee with the power to investigate the shedding of 50kgs without compromising safety or reliability. One thing is for sure, less weight equals more speed for the same power, and less strain on brakes and transmission. Racing cars should be by definition - light!

Incurring penalties for Nerfing! It is about time this subject is taken out of the public domain and dealt with internally. It does no good having it splurged across the newspapers.

Which leads me to another subject: How did that arrogant fellow Hamilton get away with a 10 place drop for decidedly stupid and ignorant behaviour? Even if he could not see the light at the end of the pit lane he must have seen two cars stationary with their blinking taillights, blocking the way out!! And then he swerves to miss the BMW and hit the Ferrari! Was he pissed off because they do not want him or cold blooded taking out of the competition? It is amazing that in the past the authorities have been able to “read” a drivers mind and in others they cannot. Has it anything to do with history and two world wars?

Some while ago I was recommending the investigation of using cane fuel, as has been done in the past in motor racing. I wonder if anyone has put any thought or research into it. I must say that bio-fuels made from mealies etc seems to swop one problem for another, fuel or food shortages? However if one looks at the numbers of sugar cane growing countries that have had to cease production this could end up being a very provident time for them! (West Indies, Mauritius etc.)
